anything from Fred Meyer and have it shipped
anywhere in Alaska. Food, drugstore items,
clothes, shoes, home goods, electronics,
sporting goods... if it's available at Fred
Meyer and can be shipped, you can order
it in one stop from us.
And
yes, we ship Perishable Foods all over Alaska.
Including fresh meat and seafood,
which are frozen for shipment. Perishable
food orders must be prepaid and will be
shipped via air carrier.
Good
Low Prices... you'll get the same
prices as you find at our stores, and if
it's on sale you'll pay that price! Whenever
your order contains an item Fred Meyer has
on sale, we pass the savings on to you automatically.

Service... most orders are fulfilled
and ready to ship within 1 business day
of when you placed it. If you have questions

information on ordering from Fred Meyer:
- Fred Meyer accepts
these credit cards: Visa, MasterCard,
American Express and Discover.
- Minimum
order size is $50.
- Handling fees are
10% (minimum $10) on orders that are prepaid.
Final shipping fees are separate and are
determined at the time your total order
is packaged and ready to ship.
- All perishable
items must be shipped prepaid.
- Fees for orders
sent certified or insured at your request
will be added to the balance due.
- Orders may be subject
to City or Borough sales tax.
- Substitutions:
unless otherwise indicated by you, like
items will be substituted in your order
when Fred Meyer is out of stock on a requested
item.

your Fred Meyer Rewards card on prepaid
orders and earn Rewards points! Just
let us know your Rewards card number, and
you'll earn points on everything from groceries
to furniture* on prepaid orders. If you
haven't signed up for a Rewards card yet,
just call one of our Alaska Bush operators
who can help you sign up. For more

*Accumulate
points in every department except Fred Meyer
Jewelers. Also excluded are: fuel, prescriptions,
tobacco, postage stamps, Gift Cards, lottery
tickets, Western Union, money orders, transit
passes, fees, game licenses, phone activation,
and Ticketmaster. At the end of each 13-week
cycle, points are tallied and rebates are
sent to those that qualify. Points are set
to zero at the beginning of each new cycle.
Information
on C.O.D.** Orders... While
C.O.D. service is available from Fred Meyer,
please note you can save significantly on
your handling fees by prepaying for your
order with a credit card (see above -- "More
Information on ordering from Fred Meyer").
For
all C.O.D. orders:
- You must have an
MPS C.O.D. account set up to order C.O.D.
from Fred Meyer. Please contact
us about setting up an MPS C.O.D.
account if you don't have one.
- Minimum order size
is $50.
- Handling fees for
C.O.D. orders are 25% (minimum $25). All
orders shipped C.O.D. will be charged
this 25% C.O.D. fee. Final shipping fees
are separate and are determined at the
time your total order is packaged and
ready to ship.
- There is a no-return
policy for cartons over 100 lbs.
- Packages must be
claimed at the Post Office within 15 days
of delivery notification. Cartons will
be marked accordingly.
- All perishable
items are not eligible for C.O.D. as they
must be shipped prepaid and will be shipped
by the air carrier of your choice, freight
collect.
- Fees for orders
sent certified or insured at your request
will be added to the balance due.
- Orders may be subject
to City or Borough sales tax.
- Substitutions:
unless otherwise indicated by you, like
items will be substituted in your order
when Fred Meyer is out of stock on a requested
item.
**C.O.D.
= Collect On Delivery, meaning you pay for
your order upon its delivery rather than
prepaying direct to Fred Meyer.
